I've got you covered with a four part Buttercream class series! Join me four Wednesday's back to back as we create buttercreams, learn basic piping techniques, practice filling and stacking cakes and then finish the series decorating your own adorable holiday reindeer cake!
You'll learn new valuable skills, get your hands on some of Made by Mallory's buttercream recipes, plus decorate and take home 6 sugar cookies, a 8 oz tub of buttercream for cookie dipping, piping tips, plus TWO cakes! All valued over $250!!!

All About Buttercream:
Are you looking to perfect your American buttercream? Or want to learn other buttercream frostings to add to your arsenal? During this class, learn how to make American, Russian, and mock Swiss buttercreams. You'll get recipe cards for each buttercream and a tray of 6 sugar cookies (3 classic and 3 chocolate). Once we've made all three versions, you can select your favorite to frosting your cookies to enjoy!

Buttercream Piping Basics:
Do you have some piping tips at home, but you either can't get your buttercream the right consistency OR feeling overwhelmed knowing where to start to pipe lovely designs with the piping tips?Learn and practice multiple ways to pipe and decorate with piping tips 1M, 2D, and 4D. You can bring your own or will be provided the decorating tips, my favorite reusable piping bag, a coupler to trade out tips. I'll also give an introduction to coloring, safe colors to use, and where I source my colors from.

Cake Stacking And Filling
Have a desire to learn how to make a structurally sound 3+ layer cake? Join me and learn the techniques for proper filling and stacking. You'll get to choose your cake base & pick from three filling options then work alongside Mallory to level, fill and stack your own naked or semi naked holiday cake that you'll get to take home at the end of the class. Leave class feeling confident with the skills gained to continue making cakes for yourself, family and friends!

Create a Holiday Reindeer Cake
Ready to build on the skills you've learned so far and create an adorable reindeer holiday cake! You'll get to choose from 3 holiday cake flavors to make your very own reindeer cake that you can take to your next holiday party. Cakes will be baked, filled stacked and crumb coated before class. You get to do the final coat of buttercream, pipe the details and add the antlers and face to complete your very own Holiday cake! (If you want to stack + fill your own cake, please message me to coordinate this!)
Cakes will be 6-inch rounds, three layers tall complete with reindeer antlers and able to serve approximately 24!

Learn the science of ganache, the ratios that Mallory uses to create her signature ganache fillings and finish the class by making the three staple ganaches: white chocolate, milk, and dark chocolate.
Take the next step in learning all about ganache by infusing chocolate with fresh fruit purees. In this class we will make a milk chocolate strawberry and dark chocolate cherry.
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make macarons? Now is your chance! Mallory will walk you step by step through the process of making macarons and you'll get to leave with a half dozen macarons made by Mallory PLUS a macaron recipe card to continue practicing at home if you wish!
If you're a fan of the adorable vintage heart cakes like I am, this class is perfect for you! Together, we will learn about some popular piping tips to create the vintage designs plus get to put them to work on your very own heart cake. Cakes, buttercream, colors and all piping tips/bags/couplers etc will be provided. You will get to take your cake creation home at the end of the class.
Have you wanted to learn the technique of rolled buttercream but felt too overwhelmed to give it a go on your own? Join Mallory as she walks you through making a perfect rolled buttercream, plus she will share her best tips & tricks for a successful roll, using stamps, rollers and embissers.
You’ll finish the class by decorating your own set of 6 sugar cookies that you get to take home to enjoy plus a custom cutter and embosser set AND Mallorys very own rolled buttercream recipe.
